Filmslides assignment
A project in my raster graphics class that demonstrate several methods of making a composite photograph. We had to fill a number of the frames with photos. We achieved this by sizing the photographs and using the Polygonal Lasso tool to either cut holes in the base photo or trim the added photos to fit within their individual frames.

All images were acquired from the STOCK IMAGES server with permission to use.

Layer Modes assignment
this is an assignment from my raster graphics class that demonstrates the effects and uses of layer modes in photoshop. We accomplished this by placing a piece of clip art with a white background on a textured background and applying a Layer mode to each separate copy to demonstrate their effects. This shows us ways we can use Layer modes to easily make adjustments to certain photos.

Filters
this is an assignment from my raster graphics class that demonstrates the effects and uses of Filters in Photoshop. In this assignment we took a photo with a lot of variation and divided it 24 Squares with guides. We then applied a different filter to each square to showcase what effect each filter has on the base image.

Selection Assignment
This assignment demonstrated several different methods of selection in Photoshop. We separated each figure from a background photo using a different tool. We used the Magic wand tool, the quick selection tool, the object selection tool and the pen tool. each of these had a slightly different end result regarding the figure.

Comic style photos
This project used a set of steps in photoshop to convert a photograph to an old comic book style. In this project I added an off white border in the layers options. I duplicated the image layer and then added noise and converted top layer to color halftone using filters. It was far easier than it looks and results in a fun end product.

Surreal Photo
In this Project we were learning to use the puppet warp tool. To do this I took an Image with a defined background. In this case a palm tree. I used the Magic wand tool to select and duplicate the tree to the left. I then used the the puppet warp tool to manipulate the image of the tree. Stretching it's trunk into spikes and contorting the canopy.

In this project we used the clone stamp tool to adjust this image. First we duplicated the base Image to preserve the original. We then used the clone stamp to remove the girl and the trail of stones forming the flower's stem by duplicating the rocks near them. After that we use the clone stamp tool to removed the surfboards and adjust the shape of the patch of grass.

Photoshop Actions
In this assignment we learn to use photoshop actions as well as how to format photo's so they fit social media's parameters. Photoshop actions are programs that can be downloaded and applied to your image to create a standardized effect with a series of steps. We achieve the formatting sizes by editing the size of the canvas a nd scaling the photo to fit.

Portrait Retouch
In this assignment we used  the spot healing brush, layer adjustments and the clone stamp tool to remove wrinkles and blemishes, Brighten hair & skin tones  and make other edits like removing jewelry and altering eye color.

Magazine Cover
For this project we were asked to make a mock-up of a popular magazine cover. We used several ways to select a person's silhouette so that their hair would partially overlay the title text. We also had to include several subheadings and a provided barcode in the project.

Russell Brown - Face Off
In this project we were given a file containing Russell Browns face and we were tasked with blending it with another image to make it look like he was wearing a costume. I used layer masks and a high feather brush to help blend the image. I also used a layer mask to preserve his eye color on a separate layer. I used the adjustments tool to warm up his skin tone and dim down the light, I used selection tools and I used clone stamp tool and transformation tools shape his face and duplicate and reflect his open eye.

TATTOO
In this project we were tasked with applying fake tattoos to an image, covering around 95% of exposed skin. I used vector art provided from the stock images server, and used layer modes, opacity settings, perspective warp and transformation tools to alter the images to make them appear like tattoos. I also used layer masks and the eraser tool to make the tattoos appear to go under the persons clothes and jewelry.
