RASTER GRAPHIC PROJECT
I was inspired by Hip Hop Artist Lil Wayne on this project. We were reminded while CD covers are a thing of the past, it is still the consumer first interaction with the artist on streaming media. In this project I intend on taking you through the many moods of "WEEZY".
Lil Wayne a New Orleans native, sprit is seen in the above cover walking through a grave yard as his ghost narrates. Down south above ground grave sites is a staple seen also known for its voodoo. The Album is called Lil Wayne Tha Carter V, Which is suppose to be his last album. you his back turned throwing up the V roman numeric for 5. Change of opacity, masking loaded selection and filled it with a grey.
As he prays you see his demons haunting him. The yen and the yang the on going battle between spirit and flesh. Just al little masking and a change of opacity with a little Gaussian blur.
After battling his demon you see him rising above, becoming closer to GOD! All of his burden have been lifted. Liquify tool, Gaussian blur, the change of opacity on different layers.
with the world on his shoulders you see him stepping away without a shadow of a doubt. A little masking gaussian blur to create movement.
