Raster Graphics class: Exploring Adobe Photoshop
The objective of our first assignment in Raster Graphics was to fill a minimum of 25 empty slide frames and experience the importance of selection, inverse, layer management, canvas size and the text tool.

The required footer provided exposure to Image size vs Canvas size and how the megabytes of a file changes depending on resolution. 

The file of empty slide frames was provided by the instructor. I had the freedom to use my own images to fill the frames. All of the frame images were taken from unsplash with permission to use.

Raster Graphics class: Web sizes
The objective of this assignment in Raster Graphics was to create a full size collection of web advertisement boxes. The inspiration and idea of the project came from the instructor and allowed students to use their own photos to create their own advertisement variation.

I had the freedom to use my own images to fill the frames. All of the frame images were taken from unsplash with permission to use.​​​​​​​

Raster Graphics class: Liquify & Puppet Warp
The assignment explored the liquify and puppet warp tools. The liquify tool was used to adjust a portrait of a person significantly. The puppet warp was to move parts of an image independent as if there was a skeleton for the image.

The images used were provided by Pittsburg State University stock image server with permission to use.​​​​​​​

Raster Graphics class: Animation
The objective of this three assignment was to take photos and make a silhouette out of them. After removing the background image and arranging the photos in some logical way. Finally we created an animation using the final flat composition.

Raster Graphics class: Copycat Ad
The objective of this assignment is to take a pre-existing ad and recreate it using tools in Photoshop. We
chose from a multitude of ads and had to recreate it as accurately as possible within the time constraint. the accuracy was gain through measuring the physical ad.

The background texture was taken from unsplash photos with permission to use.

The objective of this assignment was to create the effect of a movie title as seen on movie posters. The entire product was to be done within Photoshop using various tools and effects to complete the text and make it fit.

Raster Graphics class: Portrait Retouch
The objective of the project was to take an image provided with permission to use by the professor. The image would them be retouched dramatically using tools within Photoshop and would also have to look realistic and still believable.

The image used was given out by the professor with permission to use.

1. Levels to adjust the overall tone of the picture 
2. Hue/saturation to adjust the hair and skin colors 
3. layer blend modes for the Brush tool to spot color and create the brown color for the eye from the original green 
4. brush tool used to create hair on the eyebrows and for spot coloring on the chest and nose area. 
5. dodge tool was used to brighten the whites of her eyes and teeth. It was also used to soften and create more realistic highlights. 
6. burn tool used to darken some skin tones around the neck and nose area and clean up darker areas in the hair 
7. healing brush was used to clean up areas that had been spot healed where the wrinkles were to match the grain of the picture
 8. spot healing brush was used to remove wrinkles and get a smooth transition of skin tones. 
9. patch tool used for cleaning up the laugh lines around her mouth to be more consistent and less wavy 
10. Used the blur tool to blur out the hair strands around the head 
11. blended skin tones using the smudge tool then went over the area with the healing brush to create the texture of the skin.

Raster Graphics class: Magazine Ad Cover
The objective of the project was to take an already existing image and create a realistic magazine cover. The expectation was to create all the details of one by giving all the information a regular magazine cover would have.

Raster Graphics class: Russel Brown
The objective of the project was to take an already existing image of Russel Brown and to apply his face to create a fantasy Halloween costume essentially. I decided to take the approach to turn him into a jedi from Starwars. The main goal was to take his face and apply it to another image to create the illusion that he was the one dressed up.

Raster Graphics class: Tattoo
The objective of the project was to take an already existing image anyone and apply vector images to create the illusion of tattoos on his or her body. The objective was to cover 95% of skin with tattoos and to have at least one written word withing the composition.
