Here in Telefónica Digital we conducted a series of research on linear video consumption with the objective of defining concepts to replace the Guia Vivo TV, the tv guide experience from Vivo TV, the paid tv service from Telefónica | Vivo in Brazil.
 
 
Methodology
Throughout the house visits, daily journey, ideation, concept cards and creative sessions we start do visualize distinct behavior patterns. Based on that, we created a model that could accommodate the different users that had  participated in this research.
 
 
Flows and Wireframes
The goal of this new app is to recommend relevant content for the user based on his tastes. For that we first got information about his tv consumption daily routine through a wizard, and afterwards we improve this recommendation gathering information about his likes and dislikes while interacting with the content.

Lessons learned
We found out that most users don't really plan on what to do, and they mostly live the moment and don't really care much if they miss a show. But at the same time, we see an oportunity to evolve this project in a captivanting way to catch users attention on his favorites shows, and when will be aired, keeping in mind others services and opportunities to catch up later the content they missed.
