'Go Local, Support Local' is a grassroots initiative that aims to reinvigorate Jordan’s local economy by supporting and promoting 4 different industries:
- Businesses, services & startups,
- Farmers & producers,
- Community-based organizations
- Artists & musicians
The initiative’s main aim is to create awareness on the importance of buying local and supporting local industries and re-injecting money back into the Jordanian economy, which will help industries grow and survive in the market.
Local can mean a lot of things. It can mean the vegetable stand down the street. It can mean your favorite neighborhood cafe. It can mean the factory just outside of town. Or even your favorite radio station. Jordan is a country of dedicated people contributing to their communities every day. ‘Go Local, Support Local’ is an initiative that promotes their efforts, and encourages all of us to support them too. Working together, we have the power to build a bright future for our country.
