The pointillism technique is applied to suggest how pollution caused by humans, no matter how insignificant, will converge to cause catastrophic damage to the ecological environment.Vehicle emissions become the hand gesture that is hurting the animals, representing how pollution is harming the environment.
此專案由客戶Appedu Design Institute 舉辦海報設計展的參與海報設計作品。共三張系列海報尺寸為80x100公分，耗時三個月以0.1mm針筆手繪方式逐一點描完成。以「勿以善小而不為，勿以惡小而為之。」積小成大作為起初創意概念，傳達生態保護不是保育人士的專項，它應該是每個人生活的一部分。生態保護每個人都要從自己做起。
設計理念
―
用0.1mm針筆手繪方式，以微小點描來表現人們微小污染，將凝聚形成對生態環境巨大嚴重迫害。交通工具排放廢棄物、船隻漏油污扭曲，形成傷害動物的手勢，直接表達人為污染正在傷害生態環境，生命極痛苦掙扎中。
系列一 海洋污染：船隻油污外洩如同雙手掐死海洋生物。
系列二 空氣污染：車輛排放廢氣緊緊摳住掐死鳥兒。
系列三 土地污染：傾倒廢土廢棄物掐死土裡生物。
Collection 1: Marine pollution – Oil spills from ships are like hands choking the life out of marine organisms.
Collection 2: Air pollution – Vehicle emissions are suffocating the birds.
Collection 3: Land pollution – The Dumping of waste soil and garbage is strangling animals on land.Mit Hilfe der Pointillismus-Technik soll dargestellt werden, wie eine selbst geringfügige vom Menschen verursachte Verschmutzung auf einen Umweltschaden katastrophalen Ausmaßes hinausläuft. Autoabgase werden zur Handgeste, die Tieren Schaden zufügt, wodurch wiedergegeben wird, wie schädlich die Umweltverschmutzung ist. Serie 1: Meeresverschmutzung – Ölverschmutzungen von Schiffen sind wie Hände, die das Leben in Meeresorganismen abwürgen. Serie 2: Luftverschmutzung– Autoabgase nehmen Vögeln die Luft zum Atmen. Serie 3: Bodenverschmutzung – Die Entsorgung von kontaminierter Erde und Müll erdrosseln Tiere auf dem Land.

The consequences of land, air and sea pollution are visible in the illustrations of The Silent Killer. They show animals suffocated by exhaust fumes or dying of contaminated soil and oil-polluted water – a creeping process communicated by the deliberately chosen pointillist technique. Dot by dot, the black-and-white illustrations converge to create a whole – just like the smallest amount of pollution caused by humans can lead to environmental damage of catastrophic proportions.
