Logo produced while on a voluntary placement at ‘Creative Media’ - an in house graphics studio for the University of Birmingham. I was asked to work on one of their briefs and produced a logo design for the Bladder Council Research Centre. The logo needed to communicate the friendly approach and the collabarative nature of work of the centre.
The design takes inspiration from the shape of the bladder, and incorporates the fact that cancer will sometimes make cells produce multiple nuclei. The centre wanted to be seen as a place for discussion and research therefore the design of the bladder shape mimics a speech bubble or someone looking down, as if examining something.
