Personal Identity
Find your own value

This is a mirror that looks inward, with objects that represent the identity, unlike a general mirror that looks outward.
Those with low self-esteem only discover things to criticise when they see themselves in the mirror and this is what I want to explore the relationship between human and object.
Personal style expresses our unique energy. Styles include everything that expresses oneself, including objects, cosmetics, accessories. Instead of looking outward through a mirror, this is the mirror where you can think about your inner self and your own values through objects that express their identity with new area.

Project goal
I intended to distort the meaning and function of the mirror and wanted to use mirrors to convey familiarity rather than fear.

The opaque plate in the front of the piece covers a part of your face, allowing you to look at the mirror though part of your view is blocked, and placing objects expressing your identity between the front plate and the mirror, giving you the layering effect of the "Me-Object-Mirror".  The three different proportions, textures and colors of the mirror show a different area and appearance of the face, which look different depending on what height the user hangs the piece on the wall.

In addition, the user can move the plate in the front sections, which change the area the user sees.

Due to the tendency of the mirror to provoke deep consideration about one’s inner self,
I hope that the mirror does not cause anyone to feel fear.
