In January 2021, Malaysia entered into the country's second nationwide lockdown since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic, forcing businesses to close and putting people in isolation during the lunar new year—a typically festive and auspicious time for many.
My goal was to encourage people in my community to:
◗ Continue showing support to friends and family during difficult times
◗ Embrace the declining tradition of sending well wishes to others in the form of a simple physical thing, in spite of the absence of physical gatherings—a greeting card.

DESIGN CONCEPT:
I wanted to capture familiar elements of Chinese culture and traditional Malaysian architecture, while including a fresh take on classic lunar new year card designs
