After creating a local town map celebrating independent shops, I contacted Banbury Museum to see if they would be interested in selling it in their shop. While they were keen on the style, they wanted to see the town represented in a more historical way, depicting buildings from their Sound Trail walking guide, as they thought it would sell better to tourists visiting the local area. I enjoyed researching the history of Banbury, hunting for information was not always easy to find compared to towns such as Warwick or Stratford-Upon-Avon. I also wanted to emphasise the rural and slow pace of the town, through greenery and animals, as well as making the title into more of a logo with the hobby horse. Available as a print on Etsy.
