A food startup based in Singapore, Karana believes that the future of food is to reduce meat consumption. By offering a line of natural, meat-free ready-to-cook and ready-to-eat products, customers now have the option to make a conscious choice to consume lesser meat products, but not sacrificing the taste of it.
The name Karana is based on a Sanskrit term that translates to “Doing” in English, and a Balinese phrase that references achieving balance between ourselves and nature in order to achieve well being. Both meanings reflect our principles around making the choice to eat in a better and more balanced way.
