Central to this project is the almost uttelry abandoned village of Monesteroli, a lesser known area of the protected park of Cinque Terre in Liguria, Italy. Stubbornly latched on the steep rocky coast that crashes into the sea, Monesteroli stands proudly as a witness to human resilience and hybris, the drive to face even the most impervious conditions in order to carve one's dwelling.
