Assignment - Station Ident

In this assignment we were required to create five different station idents for a particular television channel or network of our choice after doing extensive research on the selected channel. It is also required that each station ident must be 10 seconds long.

This is the completed station idents.

Justification 

From my research on RTB Aneka's station ident, I found out that in their station ident they tell their audience the type of shows that they broadcast using an animated text only. Although the animation is interesting, in my opinion, just using text is not enough to describe a television program and that viewing one station ident repeatedly may get boring.

Concept

For the station idents that I created, I decided to create them based on the type of shows that are being broadcasted on RTB Aneka, which include lifestyle shows, variety shows, music, historical dramas, and news broadcast. For each station idents, I included various elements that people can relate to when watching each type of shows.

Station ident 1: Lifestyle

For this station ident, I decided to portray the lifestyle of people by illustrating a scene of people having a meal together.

Station ident 2: Music

For this station ident, to reflect the music shows that are broadcasted on the channel, I decided to illustrate a scene in which a woman is singing on stage.

Station ident 3: Historical Drama

For this station ident, to portray the historical drama theme, I included an animation of a knight swinging his sword after unsheathing it.

Station ident 4: Variety show

For this station ident, I decided to animate Name-tag Elimination, one of the famous games from Running Man, a Korean variety show that is broadcasted in RTB Aneka.

Station ident 5: News

For this station ident, I decided to show all the type of news that are shown in RTB Aneka news program which are local news, international news and sports news.
