Together with Georg Dinstl I was asked to paint the front of the newly built workshop of www.werkesbrueder.com

We decided to use their Logo as a pattern and use the bears as our main topic. It was quite obvious to create two different bears to represent the two brothers who work together started this company together. Family values are a big thing and so they also share their space with the fashion label Rock&Co.

The mural can be interpreted in many ways and there are many small details hidden in the painting. One interpretation is about the family business model but my personal interpretation is about the bears representing nature. With every act in modern day society we harm nature to a certain extent – there is no way around this and we have to accept that this is happening. But we should be aware of the consequences of our acts and think everything through – by doing this we can hopefully fix most of the damage we cause. 

As long as bears are not disturbed they are very kind animals. And so is nature as a whole: very patient, but if we harm it too much it will awake and we will have to face the consequences.
