About the project
In 2012 Telefónica acquired Vivo and our UX team was assigned to rebrand and improve some features of Guia Vivo TV – the tv guide experience from Vivo TV, the paid tv service of Telefónica | Vivo in Brazil.

What to change?
Since we didn't have budget for this project, we decided to do some guerrilla testing with Telefonica's employees in order to find out what we could improve in the experience of this service.

Website details

Main area
We used a minimalistic and user friendly focus to present highlighted content.

What's on
Here we present what's on right now, and also give the user the opportunity of filtering the content, and get more information about the show without the need of getting in the details page.

Details page
Full info about the show, the current episode and next airings.

EPG
We tried a different approach for the conventional grid based EPG, with another one more focus on content and context, empowering the user to filter and search through it.

Tablets and mobile phones
For both platforms, we aimed to give the same feeling of balance and consistency of the user interface elements, without confronting the best practices of each platform.

What's on
Right in the home screen, you see what's on now. And also have the ability to see next and previous air listings by day or by hour using the rolette.

Filters and Search
Using the filters and seearch, we enable the user to find that tv show that he is looking for.

Favorite Channel
The user also can set a channel as favorite, and filter the grid only to show those channels. This way he can always be informed of tv shows from channels he/she likes.

Information and Details
The user can choose from an infinity of tv shows and have access to information as sinopse, casting, besides next air listings.
