M2M - Fleet Management

Project Info
The difficulty companies face to manage their fleet of vehicles, makes this initiative a great opportunity for Telefonica’s Innovation team to develop a product that fullfill their needs.

Goals
Understand the different types of users and map their needs. Create a service concept that responds to the needs of the target audience and the needs of Telefonica's business. Generate protoypes to be validated through user testing.

Insights & Ideation
In order to get to know a little bit more about the Fleet Management universe, we conducted conceptual interviews, co-creation sessions and strategic design workshops with stakeholders.

Service Concept
Once determined all the players in the journey, a service concept was created.

Prototype & Test
Two versions of protoypes was made and tested with users. The first round of interview was with the same users that participated in the co-creation sessions. For the second round, we talked with brand new users that never had heard about the research.

Version 02

Visual Concept
For the visuals, we followed four design principles: Visual synthesis, Inclusive, Consistency and Tangible Benefits.

Visual Synthesis
Where the system must translate a huge amount of data into useful information.

Inclusive
Where the system would deal with different actors communicating in different instances.

Consistency
Implying that the system would keep the same voice tone in every platform and device.

Tangible benefits
Where the system would offer clear and objective answers in terms of cost and benefits for the user.
