hope you are all doing great !

i am sagar , delhi based product designer.

this is an assignment showcase, i choose to solve problem and redesign the well known crypto exchange app "wazirx"

Before we start i just want to thank you for reaching out to me & giving me this opportunity to put my hands on something challenging. and it was challenging because I am not a product designer of wazirx so i have to think from the scratch. but i enjoyed doing it.

lets start

My solution was aimed at ensuring that the new CHANGES adhere to the existing design guidelines, the navigation models and delivers a great user experience BY SOLVING THE PROBLEMS I FACED.

ALTHOUGH I CAN CHANGE THE WHOLE USER INTERFACE BUT DUE TO LACK OF TIME and do much better than it, I ONLY FOCUS ON THE PROBLEMS SPECIFICALLY. i hope you all enjoy the same way as i did.

design process

i write down the problems that i think that should be improved ( i choose the pen paper for wireframing and research writing over any design tool because i personally think that we can try multiple options really really fast as we compared to any digital software).

i use wazirx quite often also these are the problems which i faced personally,

but here’s not end, i asked to my friends as well. so here are some screenshots that i found valuable.

then i refresh the problem note and ready to go jump for wireframing process

1. total amount invested
2. Different representation of graphs & indicators
3. Nfts market awareness

“ i cant be able to check my total amount i invested.
so that i can compare it by my portfolio value ( current value including profits and losses)
this is the very basic thing , all other trading apps are providing this feature but i dont know why wazirx forgot about it.
although we can check the total amount by adding all the stocks amount , but users WILL FIND THE DIFFICULTY IF THEYHAVE A LARGE AMOUNT OF DIFFERENT CRYPTOS.

i sketched roughly and came out with this

i always aim to make product usable , enjoyable , equitable.
as different people have different styles of trading.
there are different types of graphs representations different people are comfortable with different types of graphs, and we dont let our potential users to uninstall this app just because they didn’t find the suitable options to trade.
i took this problem into consideration and come out with this.

to make aware the newbies, i add this feature that showing / emphasizing the nft section

another reason to add this new feature because there are many users who are using other platforms in sake of they are getting NFTs there,
now in THE NEW DESIGN should make CLEARLY VISIBLE at the home screen that we LET OUR USERS ALSO buy the NFTs on wazirx as well.

i read about this article and came to know that its a latest news that

then i concentrate about the problem and the research and came out with this

design and iterate

i search for inspirations for ui design process but i have to make sure that i should not change the complete uiu
my main motive is after watching my designs its should feel like ”okay wazirx update its version”
my design should be that much minimal.
so i took this into consideration and move to make ui.

i bring the user needs and buisness goals in alligned and after multiple iterations i come up with this

so now final and my favorite part

motion designing/ interactions/ prototyping.

ps- i know that micro interaction on that navigation panel doesn’t have make any impact on the buisness. i put that so to show my motion skills. its not a problem thou !
