Within this series, I eliminated the the subject as my main focus and instead focused on the space. Space is what allows any form of an object to be present or absent, it is what determines what is there and what isn't. Photography allows us to capture certain elements that our eyes can't see. Long exposures combined with a slow shutter speed consists of infinite results.

For this series, my concept provokes the thought of aching to go back in time and exploring the setting that might be found if one were to succeed to do so, such as if one were to go back would it be a deserted house? Would there be you as an adult but perceived as a child by others? Would events take place as they happened? Is it a happy place as you left it or is it dark and haunted?
Another idea that was drawn into the series is nostalgia as a mental disorder, where adults fear of growing old mentally and continue to live life in their bubble of an illusion that they remain a child and act like a child. Through my photographs I have created an antique setting that looks old and isolated, I have shown vulnerability of a child, fear and innocence that remains untouched.

In this series, I aimed at captivating the chaotic atmosphere that surrounds us, with the use of strong facial expressions and double exposure.

This dress was sketched for Suzie Turner Couturier. The dress was inspired from a mixture of designer Balmain's embellishments and designer Ellie Saab's use of lace.
