Learning to know better in order to preserve better: the purpose of the Contrat de Rivière Dendre (Dender River Contract) is to protect and enhance the rivers and waterways of the Dendre hydrographic region (Belgium).
Apprendre à mieux connaitre pour mieux préserver : le Contrat de Rivière Dendre à pour mission la protection et la valorisation des cours d’eau du sous-bassin de la Dendre (Belgique).
In parallel to preserving biodiversity, the organisation also works on the notions of cultural, historical and landscape heritage linked to water, as well as raising awareness of environmentally friendly agriculture and the fight against floods and mudflows.
Outre la biodiversité, l'organisation travaille également autour des notions de patrimoine culturel, historique, paysager lié à l’eau ainsi qu'une sensibilisation à l'agriculture respectueuse de l’environnement et la lutte contre les inondations et les coulées de boue.
The visual identity of the Contrat de Rivière Dendre is built around white, in order to preserve the ink load in coherence with the environmental mission of the organisation. A few fine color accents punctuate the distribution of the elements while underlining the imbrication, the interdependence, of the green (vegetation - aquatic and aerial) and blue (water, air). A flexible, effective and easy-to-use header system based on a random movement suggesting aquatic fluidity allows for immediate visual recognition of the supports. The typography plays between the rigour and the playfulness of scientific popularization.
L'identité visuelle du Contrat de Rivière Dendre est construite autour du blanc, dans un souci de préserver la charge d'encre en cohérence avec la mission environnementale de l'organisation. Quelques accents colorés fins rythment la répartition des éléments tout en soulignant l'imbrication, l'inter-dépendance, des trames vertes (végétation - aquatique et aérienne) et bleues (eau, air). Un système d'entête souple, efficace et simple à décliner basé sur un mouvement aléatoire suggérant la fluidité aquatique permet une reconnaissance visuelle immédiate des supports. Les typographies jouent entre rigueur et l'aspect ludique de la vulgarisation scientifique.
