A área do direito é permeada pela imagem da deusa grega Themis (ou Têmis); a personificação da justiça. Geralmente é retratada com venda nos olhos, buscando transmitir imparcialidade. Bem como a espada e a balança, que são outros elementos clássicos e muito presente na área.
Foi notado que a área de Perícia Judicial utiliza-se muito do escudo, o brasão ou uma espécie de selo como elemento gráfico. Todas elas possuem uma estética clássica, tradicional, que passa seriedade e com um forte vínculo à imagem da justiça.
