i continue a series of illustrations dedicated to Ukrainian-Hero cities. this work is dedicated to the city of Kharkiv, which showed its unbroken spirit and strength to resist
the work continues my series started with an illustration about Mariupol about huge defender robots, which in an abstract form personify all the defenders of Kharkiv from a simple resident who volunteers to a territorial defense fighter, from a border guard to a soldier of the armed forces of Ukraine. in Japanese (evangelion) and American (transformers) popular culture, after the tragic events in various types of art, mechanical robotic entities began to appear, which always defeated pure evil and acted as a guarantor of the protection of the civilian population. i introduce the heroes of our cities to this tradition
Kharkiv is located in the east of Ukraine. it is the closest city to the pro-russian loyalist dnr\lnr proxy forces. the second largest city in Ukraine. one of the most russian-speaking centers of our state. let me remind those who do not know the first university in the russian empire was built in Kharkov. the city is also the first capital of Ukraine. fascist russia has set itself the task of demolishing the city from the face of the earth and mercilessly bombs residential buildings, kills civilians, uses prohibited cluster bombings, hydrogen bombs
the military of the russian federation rape, rob and loot on the outskirts of the city
the city has been standing for 26 days already (03/21/2022), like an unbroken eastern wall against a horde of invaders from russia. like Mariupol, housing stock is being destroyed in the city and an order was given personally by putin to destroy it. this is what putin's russia is doing to the russian-speaking cities of Ukraine. thus, russia solves issues and enforces peace

information on russian atrocities in the city of Kharkiv:
- according to the mayor of the city Igor Terekhiv, 972 buildings were destroyed in Kharkiv, of which 778 were residential buildings;
- a big explosion occurred on Freedom Square near the building of the regional state administration, the second rocket hit the building of the regional state administration. the video about the bombing of the square went around the world;
- Kharkiv knows about bombing. russia uses banned hydrogen bombs and purposefully kills civilians, which today russia has qualified as genocide by the UN

Kharkiv will not fall, like any other city in Ukraine. Ukraine is a country of free and honest people who will stand to the end. Ukrainians stand not just for territories, we stand for European values. victory will be ours, and Europe will be free and democratic!
