Maria is a disabled social media manager who needs to be able to shop for the exact products she needs within her neighborhood because she has no time to go to the market or endure uncomfortable interactions while shopping.
HYPOTHESES STATEMENT
If Maria downloads the SHOPHOOD App, then, she can check for the exact product she needs and even select her preferable modes of delivery regarding that product.
GOAL STATEMENT
SHOPHOOD is a guiding app customized to each neighborhood to help people in the neighborhood ascertain the availability of products they need (urgently or not) and find (Accessible) stores that sell those exact products. SHOPHOOD aims to save the time and resources of users as it spares a user the pain of walking through uncomfortable conditions and going from store to store to find the product they want to buy. SHOPHOOD also includes diverse options for pick up and payment.
SHOPHOOD ensures User’s safety by verifying User’s address, information, phone number and other details and also putting in measures on the app to send S.O.S messages and make calls directly to helpful institutions in case of a dangerous situation.
User’s need will be satisfied by system maintaining daily updates on stores and their stock. There is a weekly update of categorized product suggestions consisting of the top out of stock and also most asked for products made to Vendors within the area.
The map feature allows users to find their way within the neighborhood, take pictures of their environment to confirm their location, alert users of potential roadblocks, landmarks, manholes, and sharp turns and with a voice over feature.
