Australia Post - Video Stamp

The biggest reinvention of stamps since their invention
Problem:
With the rise of e-mail causing the decline in letters, and parcel sales under threat from eCommerce competition - how does Australia Post become relevant again in the digital age?
Solution:
We invented the Video Stamp. By bringing together tradition (the stamp) and technology (QR codes), Australians were able to send themselves to family and friends across the world with their parcels.
Results:
• Video Stamps were received in over 320 cities in 49 countries (as of 28/1/2014)
• News reached an online community of over 10 million people with 94% positive sentiment
• And was shared by Google's innovation guru Guy Kawasaki
How it works:

1. Stick your unique Video Stamp on your parcel.
2. Record your 15-second, personal video message using your smart phone.
3. The receiver can then watch your message by scanning the Video Stamp or entering a code online.
7 million Video Stamps were distributed all across Australia.
And were sent to over 320 cities in 49 countries (as of 28/1/2014).
The Video Stamp was talked about around the globe.
