CAGES SHANGHAI
Food photography & design
Pairing food and sports, across every pages, giving a strong,
playful and colorful imagery with plenty of details for the eyes.
Coming up with the idea, it took 5 days to create 10 sets working directly with Shanghai chefs legends
Jason Oakley and Sean Jorgensen. Each set had a theme and a list of props carefully selected beforehand.
I designed some elements such as the branded baseball tickets, or the posters while some typography improvisation happened on set when we had to cover every sauces labels.
From the shoot, I re-touched every images before moving onto the graphic design of the menu.
Since I was doing both photography and design, the best part of this project was to be able to decide on the spot how to adjust elements in order to match best the content for each pages.
