Philippine Pavilion using a folded plate structure.
The Philippine Pavilion is inspired from the previous national bird of the Philippines called “Maya” or “Mayang pula” before it was replaced by the Philippine Eagle in 1995. These birds used to be found in the backyards of the homes in the Philipppines and has been the first ones to greet the Filipinos in the morning. The structure of the pavilion follows a folded plate structure and will integrate the colors of the Philippine Flag.
