Upon my May 2021 graduation from Eastern Connecticut State University, I was afforded the wonderful opportunity of working as a graphic and web designer for the Corporate Marketing team at Stanley Black and Decker. 

Over the course my first year with the company, I've handled dozens of both digital and print design projects in support of the corporate social media channels, recruitment and ESG campaigns, the corporate rebrand and site refresh, and various internal affairs.

Developing graphics for the corporate social channels contributed most to my overall volume of work. From company news, to awards and recognition, ESG campaigns, digital content and more, I was tasked with designing on-brand imagery to support the consistent stream of content being shared with the company's growing social media audience. 

Development of social images typically began with photo curation and editing, followed by the integration of supporting design elements—arranged in accordance with the type of content being shared.

In support of recruitment efforts throughout the U.S. and Mexico, I've created print-ready artwork for use across billboards, pull-up banners, flyers and more. 

The process involved arranging carefully curated photography and brand-specific design elements in a way that carries the brand—and more importantly, the message—across different forms of print media.

The recruitment efforts extended beyond print and also had a home online via paid social media ads, Google ad banners and web landing pages.

Mexico was a particular focus of these online recruitment efforts, and as a result, I gained additional experience working with translated content.

Among various graphic design and branding projects, I also designed wireframes and mockups for internal web pages, curated and authored content for the corporate website refresh, and developed an interactive, historical timeline on display at the newly renovated world headquarters.
