As a personal project, I thought it would be fun to make a series on fictitious characters and build a set of creatures that felt closely related. Although they have no relationship to our beloved animal kingdom, I borrowed some inspiration from other species. 

These pointy-winged creatures are part of a series entitled Curious Creature. 

Bonus: At the project's footer, I made some of the creatures come to life with 3d models created in Blender.
