Poster Yennefer de Vengerberg - Art nouveau.
Esse projeto foi desenvolvido para um trabalho acadêmico, o objetivo era escolher um movimento artístico e criar uma peça baseado no mesmo. O estilo escolhido foi Art nouveau. Decidi fazer um pôster da Yennefer, uma personagem da série de livros The Witcher de Andrzej Sapkowski.
This project was developed for an academic work, the objective was to choose an artistic movement and create a piece based on it. The style chosen was Art Nouveau. I decided to make a poster of Yennefer, a character from Andrzej Sapkowski's The Witcher book series.
Cada elemento tem seu significado, sendo na primeira imagem a representação da conjunção das esferas, um evento citado na história. Já a segunda imagem representa a estrela obsidiana, símbolo utilizado na gargantilha de Yennefer. Na terceira imagem é citada uma frase dita pela personagem: "They took my choice, i want it back". Por fim, a quarta imagem faz referência à descrição de Yennefer: " (...) seus volumosos cachos negros e olhar violeta eram tão marcantes quanto seu perfume lilás e groselha".
Each element has its meaning, the first image being the representation of the conjunction of the spheres, an event cited in history. The second image represents the obsidian star, a symbol used in Yennefer's necklace. In the third image, a sentence said by the character is quoted: "They took my choice, I want it back". Finally, the fourth image refers to Yennefer's description: "(...) her voluminous black curls and violet gaze were as striking as her lilac and currant scent".
