Onion is one of the best vegetable to grow On red soil gardens in jaffna.
There are lot of gardens in jaffna producing the small and the large onions, and also producing lot of money with it. lot of wage workers mostly women and elder women who work hard under the hot sun to grow these onions.
But they never deserved a better salary(wage money) for their best work .
The money they get is much much lower than the work they do.
And the country should have to give the correct reputation and the correct income to these poor peoples.
