Orphism was an art movement founded by Robert and Sonia Delaunay in the early 20th century. It was a branch of cubism that focused on pure abstraction and bright colors. Robert Delaunay often used circular and curved shapes in his paintings to represent the eye's perception process.
My goal with the graphic identity was to give the same impression as a Robert Delaunay painting. I therefore chose to use circular shapes as the main feature in my designs. In addition, each poster is a different color, taken from Delaunay's paintings. By combining these elements, the spirit of Delaunay's Orphism can be seen.
