A futuristic packaging design for CUPPA KAFFA’s beanless coffee. Their sustainable coffee “bean” aims to alleviate the destruction and high carbon footprint that arises from the current coffee harvesting process. The name was informed by the Ethiopian terms for ‘cup’ and ‘coffee.’ The packaging itself reflects the company’s desire to push for the coffee of the future, while paying homage to vintage sci-fi posters that depict the future with simple graphic elements. The design provides a template for the package that is interchangeable for various varieties of coffee that is produced under CUPPA KAFFA.
