Another 48 hour challenge:  To design a vending machine for one of Estée Lauder’s top brands, with a view to changing client perceptions: would you spend £200 on a product via a vending machine?  
Location is key; aiming at specific target markets. I looked at 4 main sites -
The final destination for this ‘brand experience’ is the most successful: Baseworld, in Basel. With a nod to Clinique’s ‘Time defying ageless skin’ products, this exclusive, contemporary vending machine sits perfectly in its surroundings. Offering a sit down, browsing and marketing solution for new clients and a replenishment service for travelling business men, with the need for no sales assistant, customers can browse and purchase at their own pace.
