METAFÍSIC
This group project was designed by Lucía Fabó, Carla Galí, Patricia Descalzo and myself, Anna Guiu, in order to be able to see all the production phases of a video mapping project, from the analysis of what it takes to make a piece of this discipline to the technique used.

The idea behind the concept will be explained, as how the surface may fluctuate the narrative in the creative process, having to alter the content to fit it, and how it materializes in real life the abstract concepts of a piece of these characteristics.
The surface consists of a geometric mesh of hexagonal pyramids in the form of panels that work as a very attractive visual relief, in addition to allowing a game of volumes, shadows, and figures with similar characteristics.

Narratively, taking advantage of the abstract dimension provided by the mesh, it developed a non-figurative and metaphysical concept that through the use of form, color, movement, and music could explain the concept of "the creation of life".
Through electronic music, in a loop, three representations are developed that correspond to some atoms, which form different objects, which at the same time form the universe.

We chose the colors to show there's an evolution within the piece: it begins with warm colors, more specifically, red. From red, the colors start to change during the animation to cooler tones, so that the whole spectrum of colors visible to humans can be seen on the surface.

We want to represent the creation of the universe, starting with the atoms. Since particles move at high speed, they cause their temperature to increment. That is why the video mapping starts with warm colors.

As the animation progresses, these colors cool down to represent stability, balance, and peace, leaving behind chaos, restlessness, and movement.

My roles in this project were:

Pre-production: Developing the concept and overall vision for the project, creating a storyboard and assigning tasks to team members.
Atom Sequence: Creating the initial stages of the project, including the creation of atoms.
Video editing: Assembling all of the various audio and visual elements to complete the final product.
Testing: Evaluating the final audiovisual piece and making any necessary adjustments before the final release.
