The DHS 2013 Annual Conference was based on the theme Global Histories of Design. The installation is inspired by the Cultural tradition of Gujarat happen during NAVRATRI that is "Garba Dance". National Institute of Design celebrates "Navratri " auspicious festival with Joy and Happiness. This few day festival celebrates with the Puja of lord Durga followed by Garba and music. The closing ceremony of this festival ends with NID traditional DIYA DANCE. Everyone participates in Garba through the lighted Diya's on both the hand.The DIiya's fills the atmosphere enlighten in the night.
