Lou combines the connecting power of art with the importance of education around gender and LGBT+ issues. His transgender identity is a central theme in his art and lectures, but he also tends to explore other themes that impact his experience as a trans man. In this way, he wants to educate the public about gender and sexuality, while also providing a sense of strength and happiness to the all-knowing and queer public.
