Jared Parkinson's Portfolio - Full Stack Web Developer
Project Requirements:
 1. Create a personal portfolio website for Jared Parkinson, a Full Stack Web Developer.
 2. Implement a visually appealing and responsive design, including a dark-mode toggle.
 3. Showcase information about Jared's skills, education, and work experience.
 4. Include an "About" section with a professional summary and profile photo.
 5. Implement a "Contact" section with a functional contact form for users to get in touch with Jared.
 6. Add a simple "Store" section that displays products and allows users to add them to a shopping cart.
 7. Use JavaScript for client-side scripting and interactivity, such as form submission and cart functionality.
 8. Ensure that the website is properly structured and well-documented, adhering to best practices in web development.
Inspiration:
This project was inspired by my impending graduation from University, and my desire to have have my resume prepped and ready.
Goals, purpose, and users:
The goal of the webpage is to show off my web development skills for purposes of future employment. Users of this website will be either future potential employers, or other students looking at ways to show off their resume on the web.
Tools and assets:
 1. Webpage was developed using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript using Visual Studio Code.
 2. The content of the webpage came from my personal resume.
 3. All images used on the page were photographed by myself.
Next Steps and reflection:
The biggest thing I wish I had more time to work on was making the webpage more responsive. While it is technically usable at most sizes, at larger sizes things start to stretch out too much, and at lower sizes the shopping cart smooshes in on itself.
