TYPEFACE POSTER
The project aims to study the history and other related features of various typefaces belonging to different font families while executing them in the form of posters that are aesthetically appealing.
All posters are designed in A4 size and use achromatic color scheme.

SERIF
A serif typeface uses serif in its letterforms, where 'serif' refers to either the mark or line that can sometimes appear at the end of a character’s stroke.
The following poster makes use of DIDOT Typeface.
Initial Sketches
The famous French typecutter Firmin Didot designed a new Greek typeface in Paris in 1805, under the influence of the neoclassical ideals of the late 18th century.

SANS - SERIF
A sans serif—or simply “sans”—is a typeface designed without serifs (from “sans”, the French word for “without”). Typically, sans serif faces have lower stroke contrast and larger x-heights than serifs.
The following poster makes use of VERDANA Typeface.
Initial Sketches
Verdana is a humanist sans-serif typeface designed by Matthew Carter for Microsoft Corporation, with hand-hinting done by Thomas Rickner, then at Monotype.

SCRIPT
Script typefaces are based upon the varied and often fluid stroke created by handwriting. They are generally used for display or trade printing, rather than for extended body text in the Latin alphabet.
The following poster makes use of LOBSTER Typeface.
Initial Sketches
The Lobster font took a different approach. The new OpenType format gives us the possibility to have multiple versions of each letter, and that's exactly what we are doing: Instead of compromising the design of our letters to force connections, we do what lettering artist do.
