Star Trek: Infinite UX/UI

Overview for my research work and creation of the game interface of "Star Trek: Infinite" in collaboration with Nimble Giant Entertainment UX/UI design team.
I've been actively engaged in this project that draws inspiration from in-depth research into strategic videogames. Specifically, I've been exploring titles like Stellaris, Europa Universalis IV, Crusader Kings III, Hearts of Iron IV, and more. These games have served as valuable references for my project, which involves improvements in accessibility and clarity in the interaction of its components.

To represent the three Resource categories (Material, Abstract, Strategic) in the top bar, we opted for individual displays rather than the conventional combined number and dropdown menu typically seen in some strategic games. Consequently, each research type will be showcased separately. Icons for the three research categories (Physics, Society, and Engineering) will also be needed.
For this component is crucial to clearly communicate the game's state. Empower players to pause and resume gameplay. Allow breaks and strategy pauses. Avoid unintended actions. Ensure all users can access the button. Maintain a polished, cohesive UI and enhance the gaming experience for user satisfaction and retention.


These are the components I can show because the game has not been released yet.
I will update this project soon with all the user experiences and final interface designs.
