This is just a very low-fidelity prototype with no affiliation to any institution, created solely for personal study purposes.
Currently (07/14/23), the nubank.com.br application allows you to pay your credit card bill with the following options:
Pay with available account balance:
Your card limit will be released within 30 minutes.
Generate a payment slip:
The payment will be recognized within 3 business days.
If the customer doesn't have sufficient funds in their current account, the option to pay with available account balance will be unavailable. The Customer needs to exit the payment flow, navigate to the withdrawal flow, and return to the payment flow to complete the transaction.
The idea is simple:
Facilitate the payment of the credit card bill when the customer does not have enough balance in the current account but has money saved in the savings account
Facilitate the payment of the credit card bill when the customer does not have enough balance in the current account but has money saved in the savings account
The prototype was created in a few hours using the Quant-UX tool to design the interface and conduct the A/B testing.
Of course, there are millions of considerations that need to be considered. As mentioned earlier, this was just a study exercise aiming to solve a personal problem within a specific context, quickly. This project was developed for study purposes only and is not affiliated with any institution. Just a customer proposing an alternative for an extremely personal issue ;)

Update: the test showed exactly what was expected, which was a purely personal problem with a practical solution but with a greater sense of lack of control over one's money. I could explore some more tests to try to deepen the theme but for now that's it, it was a nice exercise with some learnings and it was worth the test.
