Book Design"indormation Cocoons"

In the age of the Internet, faced with a huge amount of information, people tend to select and absorb information according to their own preferences. Recommendation systems will suggest areas of interest to you. In this way, everyone's intake of content becomes narrower and narrower. With the widespread use of algorithmic journalism and personalised recommendations, many people have always unthinkingly given them the hat of information cocoons. Some believe that recommender systems are designed to help users bind themselves. The information cocoon is, in fact, a cocoon of human nature elements. In other words, it's psychological inertia that narrows down our information. Through my typography, book design and performance art, I will show people that it is unreasonable to simply think that information cocooning is a harmful behaviour. It is the cocoon room of thought that people want to break out of.
In my design, I collect a lot of information from web pages, cut them into lines and stitch them into each typeface, and take the outlines from these typefaces to make a standardised design, and finally the books are in the form of long scrolls hanging on the human body to show that people are trapped in the information cocoon room.
