Lincoln Center
An investigation of the endless possibilities a
grid can bring to design. With great focus on
color, hierarchy, and proportion, I worked to
create a design sequence for the 60th anniversary
of Lincoln Center and thier February 2023
events schedule. This six stage process allowed
me to work loosley and let my designs come to
fruition on their own.
Direction 1: Building a grid with no limitations on content
Refining:
The developmental stage of choosing a schedule design and working to strengthen its best qualities. Focusing on what the final product might be and what design would be the most legible or practical.
Creating a Storyboard:
Going analogue to quickly develop a sequence of design spreads that work in harmony while still maintaining the theme of Lincoln Center. This would later influence a full 6 sequence storyboard for the final stage.
Revisions and Evaluation:
Using all elements from previous stages to create a revised storyboard schedule. Adding spreads that act as an introduction for the viewer, as well as transition slides to help the viewer move from one set of information to the next.
