Organizational Culture Development

Crafting a Vibrant Organizational Culture is really important.

In today's dynamic business landscape, nurturing a thriving organizational culture is paramount. Your company's culture is the heartbeat of its success, influencing everything from employee satisfaction to productivity and customer loyalty. As someone deeply passionate about fostering cultural excellence, I've had the privilege of working collaboratively to develop powerful resources designed for employees at all levels of Hoteis Deville.

Why is this so crucial? A robust company culture not only attracts top talent but also retains it. It fuels innovation, fosters teamwork, and enhances overall job satisfaction. It's the driving force that sets you apart in a competitive market.

Together with a talented group (Marketing, Customer Relationship, Operations, Human Resources) I had the opportunity to craft a transformative material aimed at embedding Deville  organization's values, vision, and ethos into the daily fabric of your workplace. Our approach recognized that the foundation of a vibrant culture is not just a top-down directive but a shared journey, where every employee is a steward of your company's identity.
The material created had a compass, guiding all teams toward alignment with the core principles. It serves as a reminder of what makes the organization unique and reminds everyone, from the C-suite to entry-level associates, of their crucial role in upholding and evolving the culture.

Every day presents an opportunity to reinforce the cultural compass, to celebrate achievements, and to inspire growth. With some resources, you may empower your workforce to become the embodiment of your company's spirit, ensuring that culture isn't just a buzzword but a living, breathing force within a organization.
The Organizational Culture Program within the Hotéis Deville project aimed to cultivate a culture of continuous improvement across all teams. The focus was on addressing specific themes on a weekly basis.
The material was structured around two core pillars:
1. Brand Values: These represented the essence of the Deville brand, guiding the behavior and decisions of every team member.
2. Guidelines: Practical instructions ensuring consistency in service and operations, enriched with insights drawn from psychological principles and customer-centric perspectives.

To make learning engaging, it was embraced a gamification approach, ensuring that the content was accessible and encouraging active participation from all. The methodology unfolded throughout the week as follows:
- Monday (Theme Selection): Each week began with the selection of a theme. The General Manager or Team Leader conducted this by drawing cards, with two sets available (Guideline Cards and Value Cards). One card from each set was randomly chosen, and the combination was cross-referenced with the guidance manual. This process defined the theme for the week, which the teams would focus on.
- Tuesday (Action Review): Daily meetings between leaders and teams became a platform for reviewing the practical application of the chosen theme. Leaders encouraged team members to share their experiences, discuss daily applications, and provide examples of how they applied the theme in their roles.
- Wednesday and Thursday (Action Implementation): These mid-week days were dedicated to putting the theme into practice. Team members were asked to provide real-world examples of how they had incorporated the weekly theme into their interactions with customers.
- Friday (Recognition): At the end of the week, recognition was key. Leaders publicly acknowledged and celebrated the actions and efforts made by the teams in reinforcing the organizational culture through the theme. This step reinforced the importance of continuous and daily application, ensuring that positive customer experiences were consistently generated.

The video below offers an in-depth understanding of the concept and methodology behind this innovative initiative, providing insights into how it transformed the company' culture for the better:
