This project gives an overview of the painting and restyling which I recently completed in the guest bathroom of my home.
When I began the project, I already had purchased the shower curtain and accent towels that are shown in the pictures; along with the rug and toilet seat cover. These were acquired from different stores at different times, so the colors do not match exactly, but, as you can see, they all work together.

The next group of images show the progress during the first phase of painting, applying the purple background color.

The last set of pictures show the finished walls with Art Deco stenciling details. The color of the stenciling is mixed from the purple of the background to which I added a lighter color. The stencils were laid out with painter's tape, and the areas filled in with a small sponge to give a varying textural effect.
