Below are two concepts that include the requirements you had asked for within a new logo; A professional and modern design that included colour, would last a long time and shows that your business is a well established one!
The idea behind the 'T' in this logo, was to make it POP with colour to attract attention. Creating the 'T' allows the overall logo to be split into three parts. The logo as a whole can be applied to any surface or media. The 'T' on its own can be applied to business cards and clothing, and the bodied text can be placed on anything formal like an invoice, receipt or email etc...
The second logo is more of a timeless version. A logo that will stand the test of time, giving the feel of longevity and establishment. To do this, the majority of the colour has been removed, keeping an accented colour within the paint brush. Keeping the features within the 'T' still allows you to break up the logo into multiple parts if you wanted to.
The variations are on black and white backgrounds but you'll be able to place either logo on any colour of your choice, swapping between the black and white logos for efficiency. This just allows you to envision the possibilities without thinking everything needs to be white.
Although your working vehicle is a car, the same principle would apply. You can add a vinyl to your rear window or to the car doors. Or this could tempt you into buying a small transit to go with your new logo!

Ultimately, what you do with either logo and where you place them is up to you!

Let me know what you think, note down anything you do/don't like and/or want to change. Be honest! At the end of the day it's the reputation of your business and I want you to be happy with it. We can then discuss these things and I'll then finalise it all and get everything sent over to you.
