Zindagi, the debut single by Samyak Jain explores the themes of self-acceptance and the inevitability of change.
The film for the song is a manifestation of those ideas through the life of a child. He's unbothered and unaware of the life that he lives - a life of monotony. The visual language reflects the lack of change, habitual behaviour and an acceptance of a predestined world.
Until the monotony breaks. The protagonist can’t help but realise what’s out there. He sees the world as he’d like to. He acknowledges the fact that change, escape, or anything else one might like to call it, is simple. Catharsis is simple. He walks out of the door.
