Many times I am asked to represent how User Experience fits within the organization: "What is it?" "Why do we need it?" In addition, there are questions about where UX professionals gain their knowledge. This nascent field, which is constantly evolving and not easily encapsulated in brief, covers many areas of digital design and development, but emerges from a range of different disciplines. While these visuals are in no way represetative of all UX or truly defines the practice, for the uninformed these slides are an excellent way to introduce the subject matter and generate discussion.
