The aim of the project is, on the one hand, to preserve the existing concrete structure, and on the other hand to open up the interior spaces and bring in as much light as possible. This creates a mixture of solid concrete and transparent glass surfaces on the facade, which creates a connection between the previous and the new character of the building.
Ziel des Projekts ist es, einerseits die bestehende Betonstruktur zu erhalten, anderseits die Innenräume zu öffnen und möglichst viel Licht rein zu bringen. So entsteht die Mischung aus massivem Beton und transparenten Glasflächen an der Fassade, die eine Verbindung zwischen dem bisherigen und dem neuen Charakter des Gebäudes schafft.
