Dramatis is a fictional publication for the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts in New York City. This project is an exercise in typographic systems and hierarchy as well as editorial organization and layout. In conceiving the ideas and titles for the main articles, I conceptualized this publication to be about disparate ideas and things mixing together, such as different cultures coming together in an opera or classical music performed with modern technologies. Visuals created solely by me include the cover illustration, the map, and the app logo; all other photography was borrowed and retouched, and the bodies of text are dummy copy.
The secondary portion of this project was to recreate the cover and feature article of the publication in an iPad format, adjusting the typography and layout accordingly. The pages are singular as opposed to spreads, as the reader would swipe across on the iPad to go between each page.
