The U.S. Open Radio iPhone app brought fans closer to the action than ever before at the 2011 U.S. Open golf tournament at Congressional Country Club.
The "Ask The Booth" feature encouraged fans to Tweet their most pressing golf questions to #AskAmExGolf for a chance to have them answered on-air during the live broadcast.
Once users logged in to Twitter and submitted their question the app auto-populated their message with the hashtag #AskAmexGolf. Users were then prompted to follow the client's Twitter feed in order to find out if their question would be answered live, on-air.
