I am currently completing a Typography class at Victoria University of Wellington - Te Herenga Waka and we were given the below instructions for this project:
Design an A3 display poster choosing a specific era of hand-typesetting (woodtype, cast type, letterpress) to recreate as authentically as possible. Pay attention to the year your work is ‘set’ in.
I have chosen to do my own set text - A concert located in America in the 1960's. Below is some of my inspiration for my poster
Fonts used: Bebes Neue, Cooper Black, Futura Condensed Extrabold, Latin Condensed.
